Central Coast Surf Academy learn to surf classes are operated by the most qualified and professional surfers on the coast. Offering an elite level tuition, our programs are a fun packed experience providing a fantastic opportunity to build confidence in the water and meet new friends.
Group Lesson
$50pp 1hour lesson
All equipment is supplied including surfboards, wetsuits, rash guards, and sunscreen.
2 Day Beginner Holiday Special
2x 1hr $90pp (save $10 with every 2 day booking)
Two days of fun filled surfing experiences for the determined beginner who wants to not only stand but also surf a wave. These classes cover all the basic and important techniques and knowledge needed to find your feet and keep riding. You’ll experience a variety of conditions and waves and even learn how to control your board paddling and turning.

All sessions focus on ocean safety, beach awareness and all the skills needed to learn to surf. All classes are broken down into small groups and are level specific.
All surfing surfing lessons are run at Avoca Beach, Terrigal Beach, MacMasters Beach, Copacabana Beach,Shelly Beach, and Wamberal, Toowoon Bay and Blue Lagoon

All Equipment is Supplied ( All efforts are made to supply wetsuits all sizing may not be available)
Copa / Macmasters will take place safest part of the beach and will be advised 24hours prior to your lesson.
Toowoon - Can also relocate to Shelly Beach if the swell is really small and we are unable to find waves at Toowoon bay. Our team would contact you if this was the case if you dont hear from us you would meet at Toowoon bay.
Meet our coaches at the marked CCSA Van or trailer for the following locations;
- Avoca Lessons- Meet at the Avoca Surf Life Saving Club Car park- at the CCSA Trailer or Van
- Terrigal Lessons meet at the Terrigal Beach Lagoon PACIFIC STREET Terrigal at the CCSA Trailer
- Macmasters Beach lessons - Meet at the beach carpark
- Copacabana Beach - Del monte Pl (near SLSC)
- Shelly Beach- Meet at the Trailer at the SLSC Carpark
- Toowoon bay - Meet at the Trailer at the Bottom Carpark
- Blue lagoon meet at the trailer on the grass inside the Blue lagoon caravan park
CCSA will provide the essential items, however it is reccomended to bring the following;
- Swimmers
- Sunscreen
- Water
- Towel
- Hat
- Other individual sun protection items
CCSA provides the following for all participants:
- Foam surfboards
- Rashvests
- Sunscreen
Please note all participants must sign a Waiver before participating in a CCSA lesson, participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign on their behalf. CCSA staff reserve the right to not allow particpation in a lesson if a waiver has not been signed.
All programs need a minimum of four participants to proceed, if a lesson is unable to go ahead due to low numbers CCSA reserves the right to cancel lessons and provide refunds to those already booked.
